2013 Haliburton Forest Canopy Tour
Had a 2-day short trip to the Haliburton forest during Canada Day long weekend. Stayed in a resort over the night and enjoyed a "Walk in the Clouds" in the morning of the Canada Day.A Park in the Haliburton Highlands
This park is a natural work of art with lots of trees and stones.

Wild Flowers - Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary
At the back of the Pinestone resort, there's a lake next to the golf course and you can find some wild flowers are growing around the lake. I was attracted by those natural beauties and decided to use my camera and macro lens in hand to capture the memory of this after-dinner trip.
The amazing daisy flowers are my all-time favorite, they are easy to care, always look happy, healthy and cute!

These flowers are very fragrant. They look ordinary from a distance, but look so pretty and delicate under macro lens. They are fresh pink under natural light,

Canopy Tour
Haliburton Forest is a privately owned forest, here is the entrance to the Canopy tour,
Start from canoeing,
Walk in the Clounds - The Canopy boardwalk is the highlight of the tour.
I was a bit nervous at the beginning of this tour, but became very relaxing once I realized this was actually a very safe trip. I enjoyed the fun of walking in the clouds and on the top of trees - a feeling of "I believe I can fly" !

Enjoy the summer!
