I am living in Toronto and working for a Canadian bank. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and received my MBA degree from University of Toronto. I am freelance writer for Sing Tao Newspaper food column "Veggie Zen", and am committed to promoting healthy life style and vegetarian recipes.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, handicraft, photography and cardio activities. Experiencing the exhilaration of creativity and innovation, making ordinary things extraordinary is a constant part of my life. With a hobby as a columnist for SingTao Newspaper (a division of Toronto Star), I launched this website on January 1, 2008, to share my cooking and handicraft ideas. I decided to promote vegetarian recipes were for memory of my grandma, who was a vegetarian, took care of me when I was in school, and inspired me to learn to become a person with wisdom.

取名蜜三刀是因为想了好久想不出中意的笔名,有一天脑子里莫名冒出小时候吃过的某种甜点‘蜜三刀’,觉得好玩,就用了这个名字。直到上了西餐烹饪艺术的第一课,才知道西餐大厨最基本的投资是三把刀:法式大厨刀(French Chef’s Knife),剔骨刀(Boning Knife),和削皮刀(Paring Knife)。事后觉得三刀是一个独特并有意义的名字。

味久取自欧阳修的‘又如食橄榄,真味久愈在’,希望味久斋的一切能给你繁忙生活带来一丝清新,如食青橄榄之后所留下的那股清甜生津,龈颊留香的感觉。有空请来蜜三刀的味久斋,品一品我用手制作的甜酸苦辣咸,尝一尝我用心烹调的人生百味菜!
